After the external evaluation finished in the summer of 2015 Visual Design and Media program of European Humanities University (EHU) has been reaccredited for three years by Lithuania’s Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC).
“Since it was established in Minsk in 1992, the European Humanities University has sought to provide Belarusian students with a broad-based humanities (“liberal arts”) education that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and personal responsibility <…>. The program seeks to encourage an exploration of identity, particularly in the context of Belarusian culture in a European context, and how it is represented visually in different contexts, for example, from the perspective of the global marketplace or consumer culture. This thinking needs to be connected to the new digital media platforms that are emerging”, - the report includes.
