Prominent Vilnius lawyer trains EHU law students

Marius Jakulis Jason, founder of the law firm AAA Baltic Service Company, conducted a practical seminar on intellectual property law for EHU’s International Law and European Law students.

Jakulis Jason introduced students to the subject through a creative educational approach: students were asked to simulate the creation of a start-up enterprise, paying particular attention to the protection of intellectual property. The simulation helped students explore the day-to-day challenges that lawyers face when working in intellectual property law.

"The classroom is a place for active learning, in which students, guided by the professor, can review and discuss the subject matter, ask and answer questions, and, most importantly, present what they have learned, both orally and in writing, to the professor and fellow students," noted Jakulis Jason.

Jakulis Jason specializes in business and intellectual property law and has practiced for more than thirty years. He is listed in the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers as one of the world’s premiere lawyers specialising in trademarks.
