Yelizaveta Biarezinchuk, a third-year undergraduate student of International Law, has been selected to receive the EHU Alumni Scholarship for academic year 2013-2014. Her selection was determined by a vote of alumni donors whose generosity makes the scholarship possible.
Biarezinchuk is an active student and associate member of the Student Union. She coordinates the Buddy Program which assists exchange students enrolled at EHU. Biarezinchuk maintains a high grade point average and is one of the best students in her class, actively participating in student life, student activities, and a variety of projects.
Biarezinchuk was selected from twelve candidates who submitted their applications for the second annual EHU Alumni Scholarship competition. She will be awarded a scholarship of USD 1,000.
The EHU Alumni Scholarship Fund was initiated to support active undergraduate students and foster closer links between EHU students and alumni. The scholarship encourages social engagement and is awarded to a student who demonstrates outstanding academic achievement and active involvement in extracurricular activities.
