Gediminas Kirkilas, the Deputy Speaker and Chair of the Committee for European Affairs of the Lithuanian Parliament Seimas, will deliver the commencement address to EHU’s Class of 2015 at the graduation ceremony to be held 10 July in Vilnius.
Mr. Kirkilas’s relationship with the European Humanities University goes back to when the institution first arrived in Vilnius. Throughout these years, he has remained a staunch friend and supporter of EHU and its students. Mr. Kirkilas, as a prominent political leader of significant experience and managerial skills, has helped EHU to handle the challenging period of its relocation and to thrive in the new academic and cultural environment of Lithuania.
More than 230 EHU undergraduate and graduate students will receive diplomas at the graduation ceremony of this year, which will take place in the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society.
