Friends of EHU discuss University progress and further development

On February 2 members of the United States-based “Friends of the European Humanities University, Inc.” held a telecon meeting and learned the status of the University’s operations in the Academic Year 2016/17, and to discuss how the Friends group might best support the EHU’s mission.

During the teleconference, University President Prof. Anatoli Mikhailov and Acting Rector Jørgen Jørgensen presented the progress of the enhancement of the EHU management, implementation of the new Core Curriculum, and the status of the EHU Rector’s search to members of the Friends of EHU, Inc. Several participants, including the President of the Friends group, Robert Nurick, expressed their appreciation for the progress that has been made.

Friends of EHU, Inc. is 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2009 in Washington, DC to engage prominent American organizations and individuals in support of the University’s commitment to intellectual freedom and the pursuit of an international higher education for Belarusians that is free from repression or discrimination of any kind.
