First EHU Alumni Scholarship awarded to Kseniya Shtalenkova

Kseniya Shtalenkova, a 3rd year undergraduate low residence student of media and visual design at EHU, has been announced the winner of the first EHU Alumni Scholarship competition for the academic year 2012-13. The winner was determined by an EHU Alumni Scholarship Commission composed of alumni who contributed funds to make this scholarship possible.

Kseniya has proved to be an active and motivated student and a talented writer. While studying at EHU, she participates in student projects and competitions aimed at promoting the university.

Kseniya is the author of The Other Side of the Mirror, an adventure novel in Belarusian.

“This scholarship is a good example of how links between EHU alumni and current students can be fostered,” says Andrei Khrapavitski, EHU alumni relations coordinator (BA Political Science and European Studies, 2010).

Six undergraduate EHU students submitted their applications for the first Alumni Scholarship competition.

The EHU Alumni Scholarship Fund was initiated to support active undergraduate students and foster closer links between EHU students and alumni. The scholarship encourages social engagement and is awarded to a student who demonstrates outstanding academic achievement as well as involvement in extracurricular activities.
