EHU hosts first alumni homecoming in Vilnius

More than 30 alumni attended the European Humanities University's (EHU) first alumni homecoming in Vilnius. The homecoming featured icebreakers, an informational presentation, and a charity auction. It was followed by EHU's 20th Anniversary Gala Reception.

Andrei Khrapavitski, EHU alumni relations coordinator (BA Political Science and European Studies, 2010), informed EHU students about upcoming events, about the channels of distributing information, mentioned a possibility to participate in LitPro projects together with current students, and realize their own projects as part of the alumni clubs.
As a first step toward creating an alumni benefits program, alumni were presented with an OZAS VIP shopping card. They could also buy EHU memorabilia and a balloon flight over Vilnius at the alumni charity auction. The money collected at the auction will be added to the Alumni Scholarship Fund, which has raised nearly EUR 1,000 over the past year to help future EHU students.
Homecoming is EHU's second major alumni event this year, following an alumni meeting in Minsk hosted by the Lithuanian Embassy. EHU is pleased at the turnout for these two events and invites all EHU alumni to join EHU's Alumni Association to experience the benefits of being part of EHU's alumni network. A program of networking events and other benefits, including career counseling and discounts for products and services, is planned. To join, contact alumni relations coordinator.
