EHU alums and student win Belarusian literary prizes

Two EHU alums and one student have won prizes in a literary contest called Ex Libris. The contest is organized by the Union of Belarusian Writers and the Belarusian PEN Center.

EHU alumna (MA, Gender Studies, 2007) and faculty member Volha Hapeyeva won the main prize in the contest for her fairy tale “Sad Soup.” She was awarded a pocket computer and the possibility to publish her work.

Among nine participants who received awards were Darya Zaichanka (BA, Media and Visual Design, 2010) and Kseniya Shtalenkova, an undergraduate student of Visual Design and Media at EHU.   

The awards ceremony will take place on 12 October at 6 p.m. at Y Gallery in Minsk.
